HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU STAND IN YOUR LIFE OR LIFE BEYOND EARTH?
If you died today where would you be?
In heaven the most wonderful place or hell the worst place possible?
Take some time and meditate on these thoughts.
You might be a great person BUT:
The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 6:26: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
Sin is your actions and thoughts that are not of God. Sin separates us from God thus we will never have what He has to offer if we live in sin. Because of this, you must admit that you are a sinner. There are many things being taught in this world. The Bible tells us that other teachings will exist no matter how false they are.
God has put into motion a plan that is all based on FAITH.
Once again the Bible tells us:
Hebrews 11:1 says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Having faith is believing and trusting in that which we can not physically see or touch, but we know because of our faith it's real.
Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Romans 10:9-10: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
So as the Bible teaches you must believe in your heart, having faith in Jesus Christ and His payment for your sins. We talk about things that we believe in. We talk about our family, our hobbies, our work, and our possessions. When you come to know Jesus with a passion, He becomes your topic. You change from who you were to who He wants you to be. The Bible tells us:
Romans 10:9: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Acts 1:8: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Being a witness is sharing with others through our actions and telling those around us about Jesus and what He has done. We could list many passages indicating we should tell others but the point is we must confess Jesus to be saved. Being saved is no longer living in the world, but being apart of God's Kingdom and having the gift of God, ETERNAL LIFE to live forever in heaven when we pass from this earth. Heaven the most wonderful place we could ever be.
A good way to come to Jesus Christ is to pray and ask Him in your life. You might pray a prayer such as this:
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking You to forgive my sins and come into my life. Please guide me as I live for you. Lord I want to be your servant, direct my paths that I may do your Will. Thank You Lord for loving me and saving my soul. In Jesus Name AMEN!
Welcome to your new life. You are now a new creation as the Bible tells us (II Corinthians 5:17). Giving your life to Jesus is only the beginning. He wants to have a close relationship with you. Read your Bible, find a group of believers that you can worship, fellowship, and
serve with and start telling people about Jesus and what He is doing in you life. God loves you and has a plan for you!
